Join us for this special community meditation, yin and soundhealing practice. Imari Meyer will be on the sounds bowls as Izumi Koh guides you in a yin practice. Yin is a slow-paced style of yoga with lengthy posture holds and targeted stretching for restorative benefit. Students use the assistance of props (blankets, blocks, bolsters) to open up deep, dense connective tissues and joints in the body while focusing on breath and relaxation. Because of its mental and physical demand, Yin Yoga can feel at times more challenging than all other yoga styles. This is an unheated class.
